Cancellation and Refund Policy
At BH Cruises Corp., we understand that travel plans may need to be changed. Our cancellation policy aims to provide flexibility while ensuring the proper handling of cancellations. Please review the policy carefully, as it applies to all bookings made with BH Cruises Corp.
General Cancellation Guidelines:
- Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to [email protected] or through your online booking account, where applicable.
- The date on which we receive your written cancellation request will be the effective date of the cancellation.
- Refunds or cancellation fees depend on the specific cruise package you have booked and how far in advance of the departure date the cancellation is made. Please review the specific terms outlined for your booking.
Cancellation Deadlines and Fees:
- More than 90 days before departure:
- You will receive a full refund minus a non-refundable processing fee of $100 per booking.
- 60 to 89 days before departure:
- A 50% refund of the total booking amount will be issued.
- 30 to 59 days before departure:
- A 25% refund of the total booking amount will be issued.
- Less than 30 days before departure:
- No refund will be issued.
Refunds:
- Processing of Refunds: Refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment used during booking. Refunds may take up to 14 business days to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
- Partial Refunds: In cases where only a partial refund is due (e.g., cancellations made within 30 to 89 days before departure), the refunded amount will reflect the appropriate percentage of the total booking cost as specified in our cancellation deadlines.
- Non-Refundable Components: Please note that certain charges, such as non-refundable deposits, taxes, or third-party fees (e.g., port fees, government taxes), may not be refundable, regardless of when the cancellation is made.
- Refund Confirmation: Once your refund request has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email from BH Cruises Corp. indicating the amount refunded and the method of refund.
Non-Refundable Items:
Certain items may be non-refundable regardless of the cancellation timing. These include, but are not limited to:
- Any non-refundable deposits made at the time of booking.
- Government taxes, port fees, and any third-party charges that are not recoverable by BH Cruises Corp.
Changes to Bookings:
- Changes to existing bookings (e.g., date changes, name changes) may be subject to additional fees depending on the cruise package and time of the request.
- If a change to the booking results in a lower fare, BH Cruises Corp. will not provide refunds for the fare difference.
Cancellations by BH Cruises Corp.:
In the unlikely event that BH Cruises Corp. must cancel your cruise due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or safety concerns:
- You will be entitled to a full refund, or you may choose to reschedule your cruise for a future date, subject to availability.
- BH Cruises Corp. will not be responsible for any additional expenses or losses incurred by you due to the cancellation, including but not limited to airline tickets, hotel stays, or other arrangements made independently of our services.
Travel Insurance:
- BH Cruises Corp. highly recommends that all travelers purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events, including cancellations, medical emergencies, and trip interruptions. BH Cruises Corp. is not responsible for any losses that could have been covered by travel insurance.
Special Circumstances:
- In cases of extreme or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., serious illness, death of a family member), BH Cruises Corp. may, at its sole discretion, provide exceptions to the standard cancellation policy. Supporting documentation may be required.
